    KATHMANDU – BANDIPUR (1030 M) 150 km / 5 – 6 hrs

    Day 1: KATHMANDU – BANDIPUR (1030 M) 150 km / 5 – 6 hrs

    Arrive at Kathmandu airport around noon and drive to Bandipur. Rest of the evening at leisure, to walk around on cobbled stoned pathways – free from vehicular traffic, see the stunning Newari architecture and the traditional lifestyle exemplified by the people, buildings & temples in this place. Of course, you would also get the opportunity to taste the famous Newari cuisine.

    BANDIPUR - Hike to Siddha Gupha (3 hr hike) - BANDIPUR

    Day 2: BANDIPUR - Hike to Siddha Gupha (3 hr hike) - BANDIPUR

    Post breakfast, check out and go for a walk to see the Siddha Cave – Nepal’s largest one. It has amazing stalactite formations (please do carry a flashlight). You could also visit Patale Dwar –a nearby cave considered by experts to be a geological wonder. Walk back to Bandipur with an appetite whetted to justify a sumptuous lunch. Rest of the day at leisure to stroll around the town. It is a lovely little town with pretty much every house built in local Newari architecture.

    BANDIPUR - POKHARA (1400 M) 80 km / 3 hrs

    Day 3: BANDIPUR - POKHARA (1400 M) 80 km / 3 hrs

    Leave for Pokhara after breakfast. On arrival in Pokhara, check into rooms at a resort alongside the lovely Phewa Tal. Rest of the day at leisure. The resort itself it lovely and you could go for a short hike or bird watching trail. Early evening you can also go for boating on the lake.

    POKHARA

    Day 4: POKHARA

    Early morning drive to Sarangkot for beautiful sunrise views. Enjoy incredible sunrise views of the Annapurna Peaks glowing in hues of orange & gold in the rays of the morning sun simply worth getting up so early for. Drive back to hotel for breakfast. Later go for a Pokhara valley tour later including Devi’s Falls (Hell’s Falls), Seti River Gorge & the Peace Pagoda.

    POKHARA - CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK (100 – 800 M) 155 km / 6 hrs

    Day 5: POKHARA - CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK (100 – 800 M) 155 km / 6 hrs

    After breakfast, leave for a scenic drive to Chitwan National park. Check into a resort on arrival. Evening at leisure. You could go for a jungle walk in the evening (if time permits).

    Day 6: CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK

    Today you will have a full day jungle excursion including an Elephant back safari, canoeing, a Jungle walk, a visit to the Elephant breeding centre, a sunset tour, and an ethnic village to experience a different culture

    CHITWAN- KATHMANDU (1400 M) 176 kms / 6 – 7 hrs

    Day 7: CHITWAN- KATHMANDU (1400 M) 176 kms / 6 – 7 hrs

    Leave for Kathmandu after breakfast. En route you could stop to visit the Manakamna Devi Temple by cable car. Check into a hotel on arrival. You could go for shopping in the afternoon.

    Day 8: KATHMANDU

    After breakfast, half day sightseeing tour of Pashupatinath Temple, Swayambhunath Stupa & Patan Durbar. Rest of the day at leisure.

    KATHMANDU – Bhaktapur Durbar - NAGARKOT 30 kms / 1 ½ - 2 hrs

    Day 9: KATHMANDU – Bhaktapur Durbar - NAGARKOT 30 kms / 1 ½ - 2 hrs

    Check out after breakfast and drive to Nagarkot. En route stop to see the fabulous monuments in Bhaktapur Durbar. Reach Nagarkot in the afternoon. Nagarkot offers beautiful views at sunset & sunrise of the highest Himalayan peaks including Mt. Everest. You could go for a hike in the surrounding hills. Rest of the evening at leisure. Night stay at Nagarkot.

    NAGARKOT – KATHMANDU AIRPORT 28 km / 2 hrs

    Day 10: NAGARKOT – KATHMANDU AIRPORT 28 km / 2 hrs

    Enjoy early morning views of the mountains; you could do an hour’s hike to the view point on the southern ridge for fantastic sunrise views. After breakfast, get dropped at Kathmandu Airport in time to board a late afternoon flight back home.
